E-mail Mailbox Set Up Guide
If you are using a mail service like Microsoft Outlook then these instructions will assist you in setting up your Mailbox.
Step 1
You will need:
Your e-mail address __________________
Username (Your e-mail address)
Password (As advised)
Step 2
Go to ‘Outlook’
Tools > Account Settings > New
Choose either IMAP or POP
Step 3: IMAP
Username : (Your e-mail address)
Password : (As advised)
IMAP server: imap.webhost.co.nz
SMTP server : smtp.webhost.co.nz
Server port numbers: Incoming = 143 - non-encrypted port, 993 - secured port (TLS) Outgoing = 25 or 587 (TLS)
SMTP authentication: ENABLED
Username : (Your e-mail address)
Password : (As advised)
POP server: pop3.webhost.co.nz
SMTP server : smtp.webhost.co.nz
Server port numbers: Incoming = 110 - this is the default POP3 non-encrypted port; Outgoing = 995 - this is the port you need to use if you want to connect using POP3 securely
